I'm trying to import SVG icons from FontAwesome for use as button bar icons in FileMaker, but I can't get them to work. I'm using FM 16 Advanced. When I try to add them to the FM button bar icon screen, they show up as empty. Here's the SVG text. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

I design application UIs in programs like Sketch & Figma. When they get built in FileMaker, the fonts look terrible. Here's an example of Georgia Regular 24pt. attached as a screen shot. It's a bit easier to see if you actually open the attached image...The FileMaker font is in the middle. Notice how much heavier the characters are. They look so blunt compared to the same font in other programs. Does FileMaker use some antiquated rendering engine or something? I'm sure someone in the FM community must know something about fonts... Thanks.
