  2. I've been trying for days to figure this one out, maybe someone here can help. I've got a button to export data from FMP to a tab-separated text file. I need the field names to be the first line of the exported document so the program that imports the data knows where to put it. I can't figure a way out to do this. A little more info, if that will help: My database stores video clips of an episode of a TV show. It stores the name of the clip, the timecode numbers, the reel numbers, etc. I'm exporting this information so that the text file can be imported into an Avid editing system. The Avid needs to know where to put the raw data, so that's why I need the first line to tell it "name, tape, in, out, duration, etc." Any help would be appreciated.
