Thoughtfully Filemaker included web serving capabilities in thier Web Companion plugin. So as long as you have a machine with a static IP address and the Win/MacOS operating system you can host your databases to the web. Are you talking about the server side as having a static IP and being Win/Mac OS, or the browser side. Is it possible to have filemaker functionality on a linux based server? My current hosting provider is linux based and I would like to add a filemaker database to my page.
