  1. I am using FM5 and want to export a data from repeating fields into Excel to create a simple timesheet report. The excel report will use data from other sources as well. I export the data as "tab-separated text" into Simple Text and then open the simple text file in excel. The data exports, but since I am exporting data from repeating fields, all the data for each repeating field is exported into one cell per repeating field. How can I correct this and is there a better way to do it? Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist!
  2. Thanks, Jeremy. I will give it a whirl. Kristi
  3. I have only been working with Filemaker for a few months now and I love it. Now I am starting to delve into scripts. I am in the planning stages of a series db's that will evenutally be web-based, allowing users who will be working out of their homes access to specific job-related information. What I am wondering is, can a script allow users access to a certain file/db then only allow them access to specific records that they create? I am trying to prevent users from having access to other user's information, but I want them to have access to the file to create their own records. Before I delve too deeply, can a script accomplish this? Thank you.
