How do I limit the scope of reports generated in FM? I want my user to be able to generate a sales report by specifying Salesman ID and date range for instance.

That's clear as mud. In Access I would create a parameter query and input boxes would pop up for the user to enter the parameters into. Don't see how to do that with Filemaker.

I need to fill in one of two fields on an data entry form depending on which one was filled in. For example, if Field WidgetPrice is 100, and they type 10 in commission_dollars I need the field commission_percent to auto fill with .10. If they filled in commission_percent with .10 and left commission_dollars blank, I need commission_dollars to autofill with 10.

Things like form.load, .lostfocus, etc.

How Can I make a drop down listbox on a data entry form default to the last chosen entry such: User clicks on addnew. User picks Company Code from a drop-down list. User finishes that record clicks add new again. This time I want that drop down list to default to the value from the previous record so my user can just tab through the field.
