Heres my problem. I want to have columns in my portal. Yes I know you can easily do it. It requires multiple portals. I seen a demo in the forums that did it quite well but couldn't quite grasp the concept of all the relationships. If I maybe post my solution, could someone maybe give me ideas on how to incorporate the columns into my solution. I want to have Point Of Sale Product Buttons, But List In Multiple Columns..... Thx a bunch again guys. I finally figured it out, while playing with it. At the same time I figured out portals, which was confusing me a bit too. Thx Eric......Makes sense, but at the same time I'm still lost. I understand by using the three different databases, but how would I relate the in/outs with all the different employees. That is where I am stumped. I'm still stuck!! If my question is not in enough detail I will be more then glad to elaborate, obviously..durr Im gettin the help not giving It LOL!!! Ok Guys, Heres What I Am Looking To Do! I wrote a database in FM to track all my employees information. Name, Address, Social etc... I have invested in a barcode scan system, and have distributed employee cards out to all of my employees. Now what I want to do is be able to track Time In, Time Outs In The Database. I am figuring I have to make a seperate database for Time In, And For Time Out.... But how do I incorporate it so that I can track the times in and out for all employee.... My employee status is constantly fluctuating, do to the type of business I am in. So number of employees change.... ANY IDEAS?: ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED

Thx steve....i finally figured it out! I really do appreciate it though! It was just another code line I had to enter in the script...Played with it a bit..and works like a dandy now, but u got me in the right direction...Preciate IT!!!

thx Steve, I had finally figured it out right b4 I saw your post. But one problem though, The plug-in seemed to get recognized, but its not bringing up the troi twain aquire window it normally would, maybe because its a demo of the plugin???

Quicky and newbie question. I am curious how to allow for any additional plug ins I add, for instance the Troi Grabber plug in, to be incorporated into A runtime solution, and if any difference also in Kiosk Mode. The scripts using those plugins i wrote work fine in regular FM mode, but when I create a runtime solution the scripts do not work.... ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED

OMG....haha..i must have tried everything but that. I did try the Insert picture command many of time, but never put the goto Field before that insert picture command. Gotta love it.... THXS A BUNCH Kenneth

I'm fairly new to FM, but have pretty much grasped most of the features in it. I am having one problem though. I need to write a script that when i hit a button it will bring up the Select Picture dialouge box, so I can insert the picture into a container field. The reason I need this is because I am running in KIOSK mode, and it does not allow the right click feature in the container box, or else i wouldn't care for the button script. Any help is greatly appreciated.!!
