  1. I have transferred data via a tab delimited file. But in order to do that, I need to recreate all of my tables in FM. I need to move about two dozen tables from Foxpro into FM, but I don't want to spend the time recreating all of those tables. I used to be able to open .dbf files and save/use them in FM without recreating tables. But I am no longer to do that in v5.5.
  2. I'm having trouble opening DBF formated files. I need to convert a number of tables into FM, but every time I try, I get a generic error message. I was able to open the DBF files easily before I upgraded to 5.5. I have checked my extensions folder in FMP and the DBF translator is there. The open dialog will show me the DBF files when I select that file type. But when I try to open the file(s), no luck. I have checked the FM.com support knowledgebase and only found one document that might apply. It suggested I try changing the file type to "TEXT" which I tried, but again, with no success. Anyone have any suggestions. I need to move my files out of FoxPro 3.0 which is no longer supported by MS. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks. Joe
