Hi Xperts. I would like to set up a multilingual solution under fm8 and need to give helpsupport with tooltips in the user language. I try to fill a global field in with the user language, global related to the tooltiptable. Each tooltip has a numeric code. To fill the global in, I use the Event plugin and trigger a script in each tooltip, the numeric value is joined as scriptparameter. The script is effectively triggered by the mouseover and the global in filled in with the good value. BUT the tooltip has always one step after. Tooltip 1 comes for field 2 where tooltip 2 should appear, and so one. An example is joined and if not available in the topic, is also downloadable on http://home.tiscali.be/aswg0002/divers/test.fp7 As you can see in the Control box, the value of the global is always ok, it seems that the tooltip value is not refreshed before shown. I also tryed with teh Wavevent and Zippscript with the same results. Tried under Windows Xp an MacSO 10, no difference. (I also tried the "Getnthrow" method, but this cannot work when handling more than hundred tooltips. I need thousands tooltips) Any other method can also be considered if dynamic, enduser accessible and multilingual. Has someone seen the ligth ? Thanks and succes. Claude. test.zip

Good morning Anatoli. Our server is a Compaq Proliant ML370 PIII 933 with 3gb ram. Also running MS SQLserver 2000 and MS IIS4. FMserver is running in this configuration since 1 year without problem. From april began the trouble. :?:?? Claude Willemyns

We are running databases under FM server 5.5, Windows NT4 sp6 and TCP/IP. When stopping the Filemaker service for maintenance purpose, I can't restart the service from the control panel and I get following log event: Event 7024: "The Filemaker server service terminated with service-specific error 22." To restart, I'm obliged to reboot the server, and then, FM server starts automatically. Does anyone know a possible reason of this?
