Actually the version I am using is FM Developer 5.5v1 on 10.3.3 (not classic), PowerPC G5. Even if I create a new database, the send mail script does nothing. If I put a beep after the send mail, I hear the beep. -- Jim

When I got a new machine with OS X Panther, the send mail script in FM 5 stopped working. The FM Help file says with Mac OS X you need to set your mail client with the "Internet system preferences (Mac OS X)," but Internet system preferences no longer exists on Panther; rather you set the mail client from Mail. Mine is set to Mail but the script does nothing, even if I turn on the dialog. FileMaker Version: 5 Platform: Mac OS X Panther
