  1. Hey CobaltSky, It all works good now - I just needed to turn on the Network access settings as you suggested. Thanks for your help! l3wk
  2. I'm trying to setup FMServer 7 on OSX to host FM databases for my users, who will be connecting to the server using FMPro 7, also on OSX. I've configured an additional database folder on my server to serve up the files, and put a copy of an existing FMPro 7 db in to test to see if the clients can open it remotely. When I go to a client and use "Open Remote File" to try and open my test db, the only db that is listed is the sample one included with the server - my test database doesn't show up. I've made sure that the test db and the additional database folder are assigned to the correct group (fmsadmin) and that the right permissions are set. I also tried putting the test db inside the default database directory on the server, along with the sample one, but it still doesn't show up in the clients. I can see my test database in the FM Server Administrator and it's status is displayed as "Normal". I'm new to FileMaker, so it's probably just something simple that I've overlooked. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
