Hi, I have a site with 10 machines used by 70 staff so we use windows server 2003 with roaming user profiles.
When we install filemeker or re-install for testing we set the appliaction default to use TCP/IP networking. Now I know that that setting can be controlled from the user profile beacuse in the old days we used mandatory profiles where everyone had the same profile but now a users profile is roaming ie it is stored on a central server the TCP/IP setting if set one time may or may not be set the next time that user loads filemaker. I am at a loss to find a link between the times when this setting is set and those times it is not.
anyone used filemaker in a roaming profile setup with TCP/IP ??
