Please could someone tell me if there is a way to stop the field value list opening once you have made your selections? I have created a parts file, the first field is called category. You select the category from a drop down value list, from this selection, a drop down list opens in the next field and the next etc. this is ok but once you have selected the parts in all the fields, the first list drops down again at the beginning. Is there a way to stop this?? Many thanks in advance.

I have three files - Supplier, Parts and Machine Details. I created a relationship between Parts and Machine Details with a machine ID. The problem is that I have a portal in Machine Details showing parts used on a machine. The suppliers name appears in some records but not others. Please can anyone suggest why this happens.I have checked the size of the fields so that there is enough space for the name to appear but this doesn't help. Many thanks in advance. Lesley

Please could someone tell me if it is possible to write a script to carry out this task? I would like to hide multiple records if two separate fields in the records meet a specific criteria ( "No" in both fields). I did manage to create a simple script but it only omitted one record at a time and it may involve omitting anything between ten and twenty records. Many thanks in advance.

Please could someone tell me how to create a script which will automatically create a related record in a separate file? I have two files, Parts and Purchase Order. I would like to create a script which will allow me to create a Purchase Order record after a Parts record is created. At the moment I am having to fill in the details in Parts and then have to go to Purchase Order, insert Customer ID, select "Machine" from a value list, the information (order no., part no. etc.)appears in a portal. Is there a way to do this part automatically? Many thanks.

Please could someone help me? I am trying to design my first database and have two files. One called Suppliers and one called Stock. I have been trying to create fields which will show specific stock details (order number, stock description etc.) if a certain company name is selected. I have created a Value list for the stock details but how can I separate the information into the individual Suppliers ? Many thanks Lesley
