It is happening on all my computers and I just installed a new Router. Any other thoughts?

the odd thing is that it happens on all computers. I even tried it in a different office on a different netwwork and I get the same message. "network stack could not be initialized in filemaker" crazy

I cannot see the host on a client system. I have turned on network sharing on the host computer, the file is open on the host computer, i have tried to disable the firewall, I have no problem seeing and accessing the host system over my network. Any suggestions??

I think your referring to edit/sharing/filmaker network? I have that as "on". i don't see anything under the "file" menu relating to file sharing..

Can you explain that? What do you mean by "windows sharing"?
