Hi. I'm using mailto: in the Open Url script step. It populates the email fields, but cuts off half the text in them. Any suggestions?

Hi. I have a text field that has lots of spaces. I want to find the spaces but when I use find " " or ==" " it doesn't find anything. I tried different text with spaces, etc. No luck. Any suggestions? Im' using FM Pro Advanced 8.0. Thanks.

Hi all. Maybe I left my brain at the grocery store yesterday, but when I search in my customer email field (which is a text field, nothing unusual), and I enter an email address such as tberry@aol.com, it comes up with nothing, even though tberry@aol.com is there. Is it because of the @ symbol? Is there a work around? Thanks much!! Terri - Storm Cellar

Howdy. The fields are either text or number. After I select the option, it doesn't give me any error, it just doesn't work upon entering browse mode. Some fields work, others don't. It doesn't matter which way I enter the fields - tab, click. I'm using FMPro Advanced v1.0. Wonder if its a bug? Thanks in advance!

Hi. I want the user to be able to click on the Record number: box below the book in the left hand column, enter a number, and navigate to the correct record (assume they've made a "hard copy" report of all their inventory and the associated record numbers). However, as soon as a user deletes a record, the record numbers change, and now the record number that is in their documentation doesn't match the correct item/record, and when they try to navigate quickly with the book icon, they go to the wrong record. Sorry about the confusion. I should have been more specific. Thanks in advance!

Hi. When I select a field in layout mode, go to Field Control/Field Behavior and click on Select entire contents of field upon entry, it doesn't work. No matter what I do, still doesn't work. Even with new fields. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Terri

Thanks Ralph. I did call FileMaker and they agreed it was a bug and they are looking into it.

I have a similar problem. When the user hits the ESCAPE key, the entire script is exited. Allow User Abort (Off) doesn't stop it! I'm using FM7 v3

Hi. I have an "Open" script that gives a legal notice. The user is asked to press OK if they agree. If they don't agree and press CANCEL, the application exits. If they press the escape key, however, it exits the script and they are in the database! I tried Allow User Abort (Off) and it didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks much!
