  1. During a windows scripted search and export, I get the error message of: "1 record(s) could not be modified because they were in use by other users or your password does not enable you to change them." This is a shared db, but no other users are using it. I checked the password privileges and they seem to look proper. Any ideas? Is there something, that I need to really look into, scripting, passwords, users logged-on etc... I know some error messages can be misleading... Thanks all!!!
  2. Steve, Thanks for the hint, this seems to have taken care of my issue. Best, G
  3. Is there a way to disable this FMP dialog box during a scripted export? I am using FMP v. 4, with about 9 db. In an automated script that runs daily, if there are no records found, the "No Records Match this Request" dialog box appears. Under normal circumstances is not an issue, but someone has to manually be in front of this computer to select options. I would like this export to happen without the need of any human intervention. Would anyone know how to script this, (simplest way to complete this, with minimal effort)?
