  1. Thanks - now I know that I did not oversee something. Cheers Martin
  2. I would like to create 3 reports in [color:red]different language[color:red]s (German, French, English). They all display a date which I then format to display the name of the day and the date. However, since FM is getting he systems format (e.g. German) it displays it in German (e.g. Mittwoch, 21.Juli 2007). How can i get it to display it in all three languages (e.g. Wednesday, July 21 2007) each on a separate report ? Thanks for your help! Martin
  3. Vaughan ... thanks for the mature response. I am here to learn. Martin
  4. yes - I never had a problem with FM6. The reason why I have a runtime version on the Mac: I want an app to run in the kiosk mode to protect it from misuse. It is a client that guides visitors in a building. I needed to make it 'foolproof' so the next visitor would find the app the same way as everyone. Unfortunately, people do all odd things when they use it.
  5. Doug ... I put it to 'never' sleep - but with Windows, who can be sure ? I have the same suspicion as there may be other settings that I am unaware of (I am a Mac user). Martin
  6. Mac clients (FM8 runtime) seem to disconnect after a while from a FMServer8 run on Win2000 - I have set the Server to run constantly (energy saving panel) but client still disconnects. With earlier versions of FM, this was never an issue. Any ideas appreciated Martin
