  1. I have a list of invoices with a product; the quantity sold; the price of product; the royalty rate as a percentage and a calculation field that calculates the royalty rate times the price to give the royalty payment. It works fine. I have them sorted by product. I have a sub-summary with price summary and a royalty payment summary that shows what the total of the price paid is and the total of the royalty payments owed. It shows up in the preview mode of my report just fine. What I would like is to see only a list of the sub-summaries without seeing the individual invoices. It would look something like this: [product #1] [total quantity sold] [total of price] x [rate] = total royalty. [product#2] [total quantity sold] [total of price] x [rate] = total royalty. etc. I am unable to make this happen with out having the individual invoices showing in the report. Is this possible to do? thanks in advance, Jack
  2. I am maintaining a 6.0 database for a client and though I'm reasonably familiar with FM basics, this is eluding me. I have two tables. One is a order table and the other is a product table. The order page has a data input layout and an invoice layout. The data input layout is formatted for 9 point and the invoice page is 12 point. There is a lookup of a product description on the order page from the product table based on a product ID. It works fine. The problem is the formatting of the size of the text is taken from the product table instead of the default formatting of the orders page. The product table is formatted for 9 point and the invoice from the order table is set to 12 point. The formatting works correctly for every style element except the font size. For example, if the formatting style on the orders page is set to outline, the text that is looked up will be outline. However the invoice layout where the font needs to be 12 point (and is formatted that way), lets the lookup override the default and makes it 9 point. If I make the product table 10 point then the lookup is 10 point. It is only the font size that acts this way. There are thousands of invoices where this behavior was not so but in the last few weeks this behavior is now the norm. I've looked for some preference or menu item that may have been changed but I cannot find it. Any help will be appreciated. thanks, Jack (Hirezaudio)
