  1. I'd like to be able to reference a Flash File on a Filemaker application that is distributed via a CD-ROM. Customer installs Filemaker application on their own hard drive Customer opens Filemaker file and Flash introduction runs automatically I've checked everywhere for information on relative or local file paths. I'm even willing to convert Flash file to Quicktime, but need assistance in configuring the right file path in web viewer. Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this has been requested elsewhere.
  2. I've burned a standalone runtime application to CD-ROM and would like for the end-user to avoid having to put in a default username when the application first opens. Is this possible through scripting or through configuration of file options prior to creating the runtime? It's evident that I'm a newbie. Thanks in advance.
  3. I'm sure this is a straightforward request, but I'm unable to find any post that addresses this requirement. I've created a standalone runtime solution that is accessed via CD-ROM. The solution has portal that filters a result set based upon several criteria selected by the user. I've set up a button beneath the portal that prints "records being browsed". Requirement: I'd like for the end-user to be able to print only the output of their filtered criteria. What I get is 6 blank pages and 2 pages with half the screen printed. I appreciate any help within this regard.
  4. Thanks so much for your help. You've helped point me in the right direction.
  5. I appreciate any help on this long-winded request. I'm very new to Filemaker, but I'm setting up an application that allows a teacher colleague the ability to search and filter State Standards by a number of criteria. The workflow consists of the following: (Please see attached screen shot) teacher selects grade level (drop down value list) teacher selects standard type (radio button value list) teacher selects domain type (radio button value list) teacher selects students proficiency level (radio button value list teacher clicks on SEARCH STANDARDS button a portal to the right (on the same layout) now shows all related records based upon the multiple filter criteria. I've researched for the last couple of days, but I can't find anything that shows how to 1) script the SEARCH STANDARDS button to find all records with the search criteria and 2) populate the portal with all found records. Thanks in advance.
