  1. Hello FM Forums, I primarily work in Excel and can solve a lot of problems there. However, I have been presented with ~1m records that need summarizing and from my limited understanding of databases, think this is one way to solve my problem. I have zero experience building/manipulating databases, so after several hours of searching and trying to figure this out, I am posting here asking for help. I have ~1M records that have 3 fields: UniqueID NumberDays NumberUnits All fields can be repeated. I would like to count all combinations of NumberDays and NumberUnits. The output would be a table with # days vs. # units (per the attached file). I can solve this in Excel with an array function but Excel doesn't handle my large data set too well. I can get my records in to Filemaker but can't figure out how to set up a summary report. Thanks in advance. FMForum_Example.xls.zip
