Inserting todays date when a certain condition is met

Thank you Lauren for your prompt reply. I wasn't really sure about your bringing up the objects and found the link I gave in my post was not valid. I have corrected that and edited my original post. I think I solved my problem by having the panel in front of the fields and sending it backwards.I have labeled it Tabs test 2 layout. This can be found at Link

1st time with FM and Forums. Very novice. When I edit my tabs layout both Member and Member Info tabs are correct. When I save and exit I see the same info on both tabs one on top of the other. Any idea what I am doing wrong? File at Link
