Hi there,

I have a relookup that searches all my records. Records are broken down into 3 categories. The first record on two of the categories are not updated, does anyone know why? Before I begin the relookup I first make sure all records are showing.

I am open to any suggestions.

It is possible that the record or records are not being updated by the script because they are in use by another user, i.e. in a multi-user system. The error code for record locking is 301.

Does all the info to be looked-up use the same key field?

A Re-lookup only updates those fields based on the selected lookup field: if the database has fields that lookup on other fields then it'll require a separate lookup for each field.

Yes, the information to be looked up uses the same key field.

There seems to be an over ride happening somewhere. If I manually go in and request all records and then do a relookup it changes all records including the first one. Then when I reopen the file that first record goes back to the original date.
