San Diego, CA – September 28, 2016 – Productive Computing, Inc., a Platinum member of the FileMaker® Business Alliance, is proud to announce the newest addition to its suite of FileMaker Hosting services, Bring Your Own Cloud.  BYO Cloud is a concierge service for those FileMaker users who want to take advantage of the new, scalable FileMaker Cloud offering, but prefer to have certified FileMaker and Amazon Web Services experts setup, maintain, and monitor their FileMaker Cloud installations for them.
 
FileMaker's newest offering, FileMaker Cloud, is available through the Amazon Web Services Marketplace and provides reliable access to custom apps in the cloud. Users can get the simplicity, performance, and reliability they've come to expect from the FileMaker Platform without having to spend time and resources deploying and maintaining a traditional on-site server. With FileMaker Cloud you’ll get low up-front costs, speedy deployment, minimal administrative overhead, instant scalability, and more.

BYO Cloud Setup and Consultation offers customers the ability to have FileMaker certified developers and Amazon Web Services experts perform a one-time setup and installation of their FileMaker Cloud hosting account. Productive Computing's staff is dedicated to personally handling each customer's AWS setup, tailored to their specific needs, so that it is easy and pleasant for even the most novice computer user. During the setup process, Productive Computing will perform the setup and configuration of the server. This includes purchasing or converting a FileMaker Cloud license, selecting the appropriate instance type and storage space plan, installing the SSL certificate, uploading your FileMaker solutions, and establishing connections to the hosted file using FileMaker Pro, Go, and WebDirect. Consultation services are included to familiarize users with the AWS infrastructure and FileMaker Cloud Dashboard.
 
For those clients who want the benefit of using FileMaker Cloud, but may not have the expertise to manage an AWS account, Productive Computing also offers an on-going monthly Managed Service to be their outsourced Cloud team. Productive Computing ensures you have the best performance and reliability with your FileMaker Cloud by managing OS and software updates, scaling computing power and storage, monitoring outage and warning notifications, and maintaining the installed SSL certificate. The plan also includes on-demand backup preservation, FileMaker Cloud restoration, and FileMaker solution uploads.
