San Diego, CA - October 5, 2016 - Productive Computing, Inc., a Platinum member of the FileMaker® Business Alliance, is proud to announce the release of FM Books Connector Online Edition version 2. This FileMaker plug-in is now compatible with Mac OS 10.10-10.12, Windows 7-10, and FileMaker 32-bit and 64-bit.

Since its release in 2014, the FM Books Connector Online Edition has been a Windows only, 32-bit plug-in. This version release is part of Productive Computing's initiative to overhaul and redesign its suite of plug-ins and solutions for FileMaker 64-bit compatibility.

"It is important to us that our subscribers are able to capitalize on the new features available with QuickBooks Online and are able to take advantage of the performance enhancements available with the FileMaker 64-bit architecture. With version 2, we also wanted to expand the plug-in’s capability to be fully compatible for our Macintosh customers.  While there have always been work arounds for Mac users who wish to accomplish a FileMaker to QuickBooks integration, such as robot machines and virtual Windows instances running on Macs, it is important to us to provide our customers with a dedicated QuickBooks Online plug-in that is specifically designed for the Mac OS.

"We believe it is integral to continually expand the compatibility and functionality of all our plug-ins and to deliver the most reliable products and highest quality support to our customers.  We take great pride and work hard every day to provide the absolute best QuickBooks to FileMaker integration experience for both the customer who asks us to integrate the plug-in for them, as well as the developer who integrates the plug-in on their own." Marc Larochelle, Chief Executive Officer, Productive Computing, Inc.

Version 2 of the FM Books Connector Online Edition features:

·         FileMaker 64-bit compatibility for Windows and Mac OS
