Newbies JohnC Posted June 9, 2017 Newbies Posted June 9, 2017 I've granted the MirrorSync script full access privileges. As such, can multiple users utilize a single spoke file from the same machine? For example, user A opens the spoke on the computer, makes changes, then syncs. Later, user B logs in to the same spoke file on the same machine, makes changes and runs the sync. Would this cause any problems? From my understanding this should work even if record level access is being utilized, since the script has access to all of the records. Is that correct? Thanks in advance! John
Tsiry360Works Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Hi John, This probably works but is not really recommended. Please read the following links for more details: http://docs.360works.com/index.php/MirrorSync_advanced_topics#Can_I_share_a_device_among_multiple_users.3Fhttp://docs.360works.com/index.php/MirrorSync_advanced_topics#Does_MirrorSync_require_users_to_sync_with_full_access_accounts.3F Thanks
Newbies Jacobo Posted April 9, 2018 Newbies Posted April 9, 2018 Tsiry, Following up on John's question (and having just read the answers to the questions you linked to above): We just upgraded to MirrorSync 4. Has anything changed with regards to whether multiple users can log in and sync through the same Spoke file?
