Hello everyone, I'm new at this forum, so maybe my problem already is solved, but here it is:

Is there a way to connect a key combination i.e. Shift+F5

to a script/button

Keyboard shortcuts are assigned to scripts automatically by FileMaker if you check the "Include in Menu" box in the ScriptMaker. Make sure your application preferences in the Edit menu has "All keyboard shortcuts for menus" is selected. If you're on a Mac the shortcut will use the Command key and Windows uses the Control key.

Scripts cannot be connected directly to the keyboard (i.e. "press Shift/F5"), but you can probably script whatever the key combination does.
