Is it possible to export a report to either Excel or Word?

How do you mean that? maintaining the apperance of you FM layout or only the values/results ??

You can export the data to Excel any number of ways (SYLK, WKS etc) but I am yet to see how to export formatted data to Word or Excel - I guess because the formatting process is so different.

You can copy a "previewed" layout and paste into Word where it appears as a picture. You can open the picture where each word appears as a separate object. This isnt much use if you want to add text to the exported information.

You won't be able to maintain the appearance in either Word or Excel without some serious post-export formatting.

You can print to PDF, which will maintain the appearance. If you want to send the report electronically to someone who doesn't have Filemaker, this is the way to go.
