Plastic installing 5% no progress

I'm installing version 3.06 using FMP16 and a dialog presents saying 'Preparing plug-ins for first use' and hangs at 5%.    It doesn't crash, it just sits there.  I've tried waiting for 2-10 minutes with no change.  Has anyone else had this problem?

Cheers.

Hi Spentit,

If this dialog does not get to 100% then it looks like the plugin is having trouble downloading the JRE it needs to operate. This is usually due to a network restriction or permissions issue. Download the JRE here, place the zip file at /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/360Works/Plug-ins/jre (create the folder path if it does not already exits, delete any folders named 9.0.1 if they exists in the jre folder) , and unzip it so that the path to the JRE is /Users/Ryan/Library/Application Support/360Works/Plug-ins/jre/9.0.1 . Once you have done that, launch FileMaker and check in FileMaker Pro->Preferences->Plugins that the plugin is there and checked as enabled. If it is not enabled, check it to enable it. If you are still having issues getting the plugin to install/enable after trying that, please send an email to [email protected] and reference this thread.

Worked perfect - I can understand now why it wasn't working, the download of the JRE kept timing out - took my 12 tries to finally download the 9.0.1 file.  Thanks.
