Hello all! I was wondering if there was any rules regarding what a product is named. For example, I was thinking of a name for a solution I made, but I don't know if that name is already out there, or if it even matters.

First try searching the internet with google under that name you intend. Even if it does not matter (in the way of law) it's a good thing to have an unique name for internet-search reasons.
