in need to be able to save word docs as attachments within my fm database... can anyone tell me how this is possible??

In windows - use Insert Object into a container field and display as an icon. The use can then double click the field (or you can script it) to view the document in Word.

In Mac, its not that possible that way, but you can applescript the opening of a document whose location is stored in a FMP field - but the document is not actually embedded in the FMP file.

So - what platform are you using?
