stac_1 Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 There are 4 divisions of my company and all 4 have different "Job Management" applications. I am pitching the use of Filemaker because of it's flexibility and ease of adaptation. The division that I work for currently uses Filemaker 5 for all of our Job Management, time keeping for payroll and billing and a bunch of other things. The payroll and billing information gets manually re-entered into the final payroll generating and invoicing software (Solomon). The common factor between all of the divisions is Solomon. They all bill and generate payroll from Solomon. If I can get the Filemaker and Solomon to shake hands, all of the divisions will easily convert to Filemaker. So, does anyone know if it is possible to import information from Filemaker into Solomon?
kenneth2k1 Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 Hello: I dont know anything about solomon, but FM can import/export in .csv, .txt, .tab, .dbf, excel, lotus, and many other formats. Find out what format Solomon uses. I'm pretty sure it can. Ken
