I have a database hosted in a filemaker server.

I need to know who is working in a record. To prevent one person can change one record at the same time as another.

Thanks again.

FileMaker places a lock on the record as soon as someone starts to edit the data. So it's not possible for 2 people to change the same record at the same time.
