This is a very very simple Parent/Child setup, where you can add related child records from the parent record with a script/click. For example, Notes for a Client.

The child records also date and time stamp themselves, so they sort automatically in the parent record's portal, newest always on top.

This is nothing fancy, but I see a lot of parent/child questions, especially amongst newbies. I hope this small simple demo, which is entirely open, will help explain how this all works. I find it's always easier to learn if you have something to take apart.
