Hi,

Did anyone have any kind of experience with Synbol wireless P370 laser scanner and FileMaker?

Its price approaches that of LaserLite MX from Videx, and I'm wondering which is better.

I don't have experience with this product, but here are some of the questions to ask. Which platform you are on and whether this scanner supports that platform (mostly a mac concern)? How does the scanner interface, serial or keyboard wedge? I have a preference for keyboard wedge interfaces, they are not driver software dependent. Can you program preambles and post scripts and can the contain Control (or on the Mac Command) keys? This is needed to trigger scripts in FM. How easy is it to program preambles and special keys, Symbol wedges are a bear to program, it almost stumped the factory tech support!
