Can file maker do several sub reports on one report - not sub summaries?

I know what you are talking about and no Filemaker's reporting engine is rather simple and cannot do what you are thinking of.

This is not to say that what you need cannot be done in Filemaker, however. Filemaker's calculation engine is one of the most powerful that I have ever encounter. Much of what you might need in these "sub-reports" can be accomplished via calculations or portals.

If this is still not powerful enough, Filemaker data can be used by external reporting engines via ODBC, exporting, XML or even with HTML/CDML.

You can do what you need to do, it is just a matter of determining how to do it.
