display Music_Tile conditions for report layout

Featured Replies

Trying to create reports. Stuck on my Music_Title layout. Currently, I have two fields: Music_TItleA and Music_TitleB.
Where the format is an Album, CD, EP it displays Music_TItleA because both sides are the same.

Where Format = Cassette the Music_TitleA  may/may not equal to Music_TitleB.

eg: FOrmat=Cassette > Music_TitleA is "Christmas Songs" and Music_TitleB is "Easter Songs".

I need to display Music_Ttile before print detail sideAB="A" and then Music_Title for sideAB="B".

Where Format = Single, there is no Music_Title (I don't use iTunes approach and associate singles to albums) so need to put the "sideA" track into Music_Title and  then "side_B" track into Music_Title.

eg: Format =Single > Music_Title "Help! / I'm Down"

The image attached is an approx vision I have for one of the reports where Format is "Single". (fields do not equal mine).  Other report would be more of a listing of titles by Music_Title.

See if the attached can get you started.

Note that this is somewhat of a hack. I believe a better solution would be to have a three-level structure:

PhysicalMedia --< Collections --< Tracks

or some other arrangement that separates content from storage.
