Limit cwp sessions to FMServer

We recently upgraded our FM server from FMS14 to FMS19. 

If I do recall correctly we were able to limit the amount of cwp users connected at the same time. It seems Claris has removed this capability and so, now and again, our FMServer is flooded with cwp-sessions.

How would you suggest on to tackle this problem? Add a dedicated webserver to the setup again? Maybe there is another way of getting the amount of cwp-sessions connected?
