How to find "This operation cannot be performed because one or more required related tables are missing" culprit

Featured Replies

I understand why I'm getting this message (the db is hosted on FM Server v19.x), but with the table/T.O.-heavy database I'm working on, how do I find the offender? There aren't any files listed in External Data Sources and I don't see any italicized T.O. names, so short of going through every single connector/T.O. in the Relationship Graph, is there an easier way of finding the culprit?

This isn’t necessarily an external data source issue. Could be a context issue if broken reference. When do you get this message, on open?

No, when trying to delete a record.

Moments ago, I found the culprit--it was a T.O. hiding behind another one. Why the previous developer did that I don't know (perhaps out of carelessness), but now I know why he was the previous developer. : |
