Switched internet providers and we could not connect to our filemaker server

New to filemaker but everything was working fine prior to us switching internet providers.

The IP address remains the same, we do not have a new router, same old router, we changed the DNS settings, got our internet, 5003 is forwarded, but for some reason we could not connect to our server remotely. 

Am I missing something?

it would be impossible for your public IP address to remain the same switching between providers as these are allocated to each provider.
