Hi ,

Does anyone know is it possible to do this in FM?

For example:

I've two columns:Col A & Col B

Users A & B can view both column but user A can only edit col A.(The same apply to user ???

Thanks

Have different layouts available to each group -- they look the same, but only certain fields are editable in each layout.

Or you could control it through the Access Privileges. You can set up your workgroups A and B, and then for Group A make the A fields Accessible and the B fields read-only - vice versa for Group B. When users get a password, it will be one that allocates them to either groups A or B, plus you can have other passwords which give them access to both (or none) if you want.

This method will control those fields for the entire database.

My problem is solved!
