will modifying a layout on a hosted db cause any problems?

i want to remove some fields from the layout and move some other fields about without taking it off-line, basically because it is an a**e getting eveyone to log off as the db is contsantly been used.

I can't see it been a problem - but better to be safe then sorry!

I do it all the time - no problems.

You can also do scripting "on line". You can define fields when the file is not being used by anyone, but you be master user and host to do passwords.
