1. Are there any other serial I/O plugins except for the one made by Troi?

2. Any one that has tested Trois plugin, could you tell me if it works good?

There is one available from Rumora Automatisering and Advies, but I've not tried it. You've not said what plaform you're on, however it is my understanding that the Rumora serial plug-ins aren't x-plat (MacOS only), but you may wish to confirm this.

I seem to remember that there was one other, but who makes it escapes me at the moment. I took a look at http://www.filemaker.com/plugins/index.html, but found only the Troi product.

The Troi Serial plug-in works well. If you do an internet search, you will find a lot of feedback on this product. I've used the Mac version on both ADB and USB machines with both the Griffin gPort and the Keyspan Twin USB/Serial adapter.

I am using Windows 2000, and the plug-in is Mac only. I'll try Troi's trial version then.
