quick find criteria starting with a number, like 1abc seem to return data with just "1"

I wanted to verify if it is expected behavior that submitting:

1Password

… (which I have in 6 records out of over 3,500) in quick find returns records containing a value of just "1" in one more more fields (the found set includes over 95% of the records in the database). Same results when I enter a string that does not exist, such as 1asdfsdfaf.

This appears to be the case after doing some testing, but it's possible I'm missing something.

What is the data type of those fields? If you have both a Text field and a Number field enabled for Quick Find, then searching for "123abc" will find records where the Text field contains a word that starts with "123abc" OR the Number field contains the value of 123.

At least one of them is a Number field. From what you wrote, it appears then that entering 1asdf will return a Number field with a value of 1. Thank you for confirming that.
