Hi all,

I have a client who has a solution with two different table types. One of them uses US-style date and decimal formatting (from a US version of FMP), and the others use European-style date and decimal formatting (from non-US version of FMP). The problem is that various tables in the solution originated from various sources (why? I don't know).

This is not a problem for any display options, as those can be dealt with easily. The problem lies in data entry. A US version will not allow users to enter a date in Euro-style (DDMMYY), nor will it accept decimal 'commas' as is common in Europe. (For example, in the US it's $2,500.25, and in Europe $2.500,25).

Anyhoo, long story short, does anyone know how to reset tables to behave in US or non-US style for data entry purposes? This client's running their solution on NT off of FM Server 5.

Muchos thanks,
