Hey y'all. I haven't been here in a while. Hope you are all well!

I have a layout native to my Events table with a Payments portal where I add and keep track of payments. The total payments made and balance due are calculation fields in the Events table. (e.g. Payments Total = Sum (DJ Payments::Amount))

Sometimes when I add a payment the Balance Due field is not immediately updated. I have to switch layouts and come back to where I was for the calculation field to update. Is there a button or script step I can add to force recalculate? Thank you.

EDIT: I figured it out. I added:

  1. Commit Records/Requests

    • With dialog: Off

  2. Refresh Window

    • Flush cached join results: On
