How to hide white bar at bottom of iPad screen?

First time developing with FM for use in FileMaker Go on iPad. Pretty cool, so far. I have noticed, though, that I'm not able to hide the white bar at the bottom of the screen (portrait mode) even with toolbars turned off. My startup script:

If [Get ( SystemPlatform ) = 3]
Show/Hide Menubar [ Lock:Off ; Hide ]
Show/Hide Toolbars [ Include Edit Record Toolbar ; Hide ]
End If

Is that an iOS bar that we can't do anything about? I was hoping for a full screen kiosk mode experience.
