Is it necessary to have FMP unlimited in order to access over the Web databases that are hosted on a FM Server?

You will need a client version of FM to publish your databases to the web using instant web publishing. You will need the unlimited version if more than 10 IP's will be accessing your database within a 12 hour period.

This is one reason why informing of the version one is using is useful.
