When you open the database definition dialog and go to the tab for relationships, the MBS FileMaker Plugin adds a combobox to the layout. You can type something, press return and we search the graph for the item matching the name. If needed, you can click on the search box again, press return and continue the search.

New for the upcoming 16.4 release is the support for the search field in the reduced manage database dialog:

This dialog appears when you go into Manage Database from a calculation in some parts of FileMaker Pro. The same change is coming to Windows soon.

PS: MBS FileMaker Plugin 16.4 has this feature for macOS and Windows implemented. Enjoy!

  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.

  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
