How can I do this? I have two databases that use the first name and last name of the other databse. I would like to pick the first and last at the same time in this new layout. can this be done?

Probably, but I can't quite figure out what you are doing from your question. What is a record in each of your databases? What are the databases names? How are they related (what is the key)? Which database is the layout in? Is "the other databse" a third database or one of the first two?

Thank you for your reply, however I already figured out waht I needed to do. I just wanted to create a field that was a combination of two fields.

The question did sound a little like a rhetorical musing. wink.gif
