Wow, that's pretty strange. The only thing I can think of is if you are not actually opening the files directly, but using a launcher. It could be setting a different password (OK, so this is a pretty wild chance). Or is there a mix up with which version of the files got loaded on server?

What you might look at is what the Status(CurrentGroups) function is returning, should be very interesting.

Either "something you know, ain't so" or you've got one heck of a bug report.
