FMP5.5 & OS 10.2 Single Mouse Click Problem

Featured Replies

I am running FMP 5.5 in Classic environment with OS X.2. In the layout mode using a single mouse click/hold to select an element causes the selected element to duplicate, which makes trying to move an element with the mouse a very frustrating experience. The problem is occuring on 3 Macs: 2 desktop G4s and a laptop G3. Never had this problem in OS 9.2 before OS X.2.

Object duplicate when you are holding the option key down.

Not sure why its doing it across different computers, maybe you whole office split coke on their keyboards smile.gif

First i'd recommend installing the OSX version of 5.5. See if it does it there.

I'm having the same problem -- objects copy when moved, with just a mouse click/drag, without the use of any helper keys. I'm using v.5 in the Classic mode of OS 10.2.1. I checked it on 3 Macs -- all G4s, two desktops and a laptop.

Gotta be a bug. Click and drag works fine in 9.2.2 but not in Classic.
